Aquajets Club Night - Term 3, 2025
Sunday 7th September 2025 (4:30 to 6pm)
Where: the back pool of the Recreation Centre
Entry fee: (cash on the day please)
$15 per swimmer
$30 for a family pass (capped - any number of children)
Fundraising: all proceeds go towards prizes, awards and venue hire (not-for-profit)
- 1 FREE Sausage Sizzle Sausage and 1 FREE Cold Drink for each swimmer and each helper (e.g. timekeeper)
- Sausage Sizzle Sausage and Cold Drink $5
- Raffle $5/ticket (or $10 for 3 tickets)
How to enter: text/email up to 5 events (and your choice of stroke for each)
Event 1: 25m
Event 2: 50m
Event 3: 100m
Event 4: 25m
Event 5: 50m
Bonus Event: Fun team relays (after the events)
Prizes:
- Ribbons for PBs
- Lollies for fun relays
- PB Cups are presented for every 10 PBs swum over the season (August 1 to July 31)
- ‘Swimmer of the Night’ Trophy - for the swimmer we think swam their heart out the most at the club night
- ‘Excellence in Training’ Trophy - for the swimmer we think swam their heart out the most during term training
- Raffle
More information:
- Club Nights finish no later than 6pm
- Club Nights are held once each term (if we have enough swimmers and helpers interested).
- Club nights give swimmers their first opportunity to “compete in a relaxed environment”.
- Emphasis when competing is on self improvement. All times are recorded with incentive prizes given for achieving PBs (personal best times). These incentive prizes allow swimmers to reap the benefits of training.
